We are all broken and in need of a Savior. We communicate that we serve a God of second chances who saves by grace through faith. We treat every person with dignity and honor. God Himself has crowned every person with glory and honor (Psalm 8:5). Jesus said “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me,” (Matthew 25:45). We meet each person we encounter as if he/she is Jesus himself. We communicate that no one is or should be alone. In the very beginning of creation, God said it was ‘not good’ for man to be alone. After being radically saved at the age of 19, he was immediately drawn to reaching outside the walls of the church to those, who like himself, had lost hope and found themselves trapped in a lifestyle that was destroying them. Since that time, Brandon has served as a Senior Pastor, Youth Pastor, and Outreach Chaplain in California, Ohio and now Kentucky. His greatest passion in ministry is bringing hope to individuals who have found themselves trapped in destructive lifestyles and equipping and mobilizing teams to demonstrate the love of God. Brandon is married to Kim, who is from Lexington and shares his passion for going outside the church walls and taking God’s love to the streets. She currently works as an executive director for a federal grant program that helps students in low-income communities access and succeed in college. She contributes her expertise in organizational leadership, marketing and partnership development to Bridge the Gap Lexington on a volunteer basis and serves on our mobile outreach team alongside Brandon.
