It’s been an incredible year! Check out this video to hear what God has done through Bridge the Gap Lexington in 2022.
C’s story
We first met C at our 2nd community cookout at Bryan Station Inn two years ago. She pulled into the motel parking lot for a different purpose, but God had divine encounter in mind! Please take 2 minutes to hear the story of what God did for Chasity that day. She recently celebrated one year clean, is in a sober living home and working full time in the education field!
For the City Community Cookout, May 2022
BTG Lex partnered for a third time with Bethel Harvest Church's For the City - a day when the whole church goes out to love on and serve our neighbors. We hosted a cookout on the north side of Lexington, gave away clothing and hygiene, and partnered with Voices of Hope to provide addiction recovery resources to our friends - and then celebrated as three of our friends gave their hearts to Christ in the parking lot!
Natasha’s Story
Meet Natasha, a single mom who once struggled with addiction and homelessness, and is now sharing her story of God’s deliverance with our friends as a volunteer member of our outreach team.
Remembering Sheila
After one of the women we’d been ministering to for several months was fatally shot , our team helped that community celebrate her life and God moved in a powerful way!
New outreach program serving in local communities (WTVQ 36 Lexington)
In July 2021, WTVQ showed up at our community cookout at Catalina Motel after seeing our Facebook post. We got the opportunity to share what we do and how our friends have responded with openness and gratitude - Check it out!
